APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR FALL 2007
Students who attend a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Washington:
1. Fill out an application (128kb pdf) and send it to the Admissions Office before December 14, 2007.
2. List St. John's as one of your choices on the Archdiocesan High School Choice Form, distributed by your elementary school.
3. Take the Archdiocesan High School Placement Test, administered by your elementary school in December.
4. Confirm with your elementary school principal that you will be applying to St. John’s, and they will send your grades and recommendations to us.
Students who attend a public school or a private non-Catholic school:
1. Fill out an application (128kb pdf) and send it to the Admissions Office before December 14, 2007.
2. Arrange to have the following sent to the Admissions Office before December 14, 2007: Academic transcripts for 7th and 8th grade
Two teacher recommendations (80kb pdf) from teachers in an academic discipline (i.e. English, Science, Mathematics, etc.)
3. Register for the Archdiocesan High School Placement Test at least two weeks prior to test date. Send registration form to the address on the form and make note of test registration site. Students MUST take this test in order for their application to be considered. Students may only send their scores to two schools within the Archdiocese of Washington.

APPLICATIONS WHO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION:
Be sure to mail the $50.00 application fee as well as the Personal Statement required with the application soon after you submit your application online in order for your application to be processed. In addition, all other application requirements are applicable (see above for requirements)
Notification
Decisions for incoming ninth graders will be mailed February 25, 2008.
Transfer students that have applied during the 2007-2008 school year will be notified by the end of the academic year.
