Silverstein Drafted in 32 Round
All-American Scott Silverstein became the second Cadet selected in the 2008 Amateur Draft when the Washington Nationals selected him in the 32 round.

Hoes Drafted in 3rd Round
All-American OF LJ Hoes was selected in the 3rd Round (81 Overall) by the Baltimore Orioles in today's Amateur Draft. If he signs, Hoes is expected to be assigned to Rookie Level Bluefield.

Seniors make commitment
Seniors Danny Snight and Nick Bodurian have made their college decisions. Danny, a two year starter, will pursue his baseball and academic career at McDaniel College in Maryland where he will play in the same conference as Iggy Rodriguez. He becomes the 11th Cadet to have an opportunity to play college baseball. Nick, a two year varsity performer, will attend Holy Cross in Massachusetts.

The Cadets are now 14-5 and will play DeMatha Tuesday at Riverdale Rec.

Nick Routt pitched 4 innings of relief, while Scott Silverstein was 1-2 with an RBI and LJ Hoes hit a homerun and picked up the save.

Hugh Adams named Channel 7 High School Athlete of the Week. Hugh has had a great start to the season going 3-0 with a 1.1 ERA.

Matt Mack and Scott Silverstein named to All Tournament Team. Cadets (6-2) take on St. Mary's Ryken today at Ryken
Cadets open 2008 Season with a win over Stafford
Hugh Adams pitched 5 stong inning and the offense cracked through with a run in the fifth and the sixth to give St. John's a 2-0 win.
