Coach Maloni is a 1988 graduate of St. John’s College. He picked up rugby during his first week at the University of Dayton and since then has played in England, Ireland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Fiji, the Caribbean and even spent a season playing in New Zealand. He has represented local, regional and national all star sides at several levels in America. In addition to founding SJC Rugby in 2004 and being a Level 1 certified rugby coach, he is a player/manager for the nationally competitive Maryland Exile seven-a-side rugby team.

Coach Hurley first played rugby growing up in France where parents worked for the U.S. State Department. Coach Hurley played collegiate rugby for the University of Maryland.

Coach Hatwell was born in Bowie and also attended the University of Maryland. He has represented the Potomac and Mid-Atlantic Rugby unions in 15-a-side rugby and steeped in the dark art of front row play.
