The Athletic Training Program

As head of the athletic training program, Michael Walker, MEd, ATC, CSCS oversees the health care of 30 men's and women's athletic teams throughout the school year. The program is designed to provide quality health care (evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation) to the injured student-athletes of St. John's College High School.

Mr. Walker is assisted by an orthopedic surgeon, and five student athletic trainers. Dr. Marc Rankin is an orthopedic physician who provides medical coverage for the varsity football team and is available for student-athlete referral at his Providence Hospital office.
