The St. John's photography club meets on Thursdays at dismissal in room 100B. It is moderated by Mr. D'Agata.

Students learn to appreciate the world around them visually by using a camera to explore reality, and learn to constructively critique one another in order to improve their compositional skills and their use of light; work from the photography club will be used in the school newspaper, The Sabre.
We have a digital slr and students are taught how to use Adobe Photoshop to edit their work.
Students are also welcome to use film, although they are responsible for their own processing.
From time to time we take trips to galleries in town when there are significant exhibits, such as this year's Ansel Adams retrospective at the Corcoran Gallery.
Check this page each week for new work by a St. John's student.
