Step 4: Proof read the document on the monitor using Print Preview.

Step 5: Save the file on your diskette or network drive with the filename EXERCISE1_initials.

Step 6: Print out the document, staple the pages together and hand it to me.

Step 7: Put a copy of your file in the correct network sub-directory.

YOU WILL BE GRADED ON BOTH THE PRINTED COPY AND THE SOFT COPY SUBMITTED.

NOTES:

Type the document first and save it. Apply the formatting by highlighting the text, saving as you go.

Set the document margins at 1.5 inches.

Insert a Page Break.

Use a sans serif style font for the front page and a serif font for the text body.

Enlarge, center, and bold the font on the document's title page.

Use full justification and double spacing for the first and third paragraphs on the second page.

Use the block indent feature, single spacing, and left justification for the second and last paragraphs.

If you make a mistake, use the Undo Typing command under the Edit menu.

If that doesn't work, close the file without saving and open the file again.

Allow yourself five minutes to submit both hard and soft copies.

NO LATE PASSES WILL BE GIVEN.
