Step 6: Print out the document, staple the pages together and hand it to me.

Step 7: Put a copy of your file in the correct network sub-directory.

YOU WILL BE GRADED ON BOTH THE PRINTED COPY AND THE SOFT COPY SUBMITTED.

NOTES:

Type the document first and save it. Apply the formatting by highlighting the text, saving as you go.

Set the document margins at 0.9 inches.

Use a sans serif style font for the first line and Normal Times 14 for the text body. Footnote text should be Times 12.

Enlarge, center, underline, and bold the first line of each page.

Set the line spacing to fill up the page. A trial and error approach can be taken to determine exact line spacing.

Use the Insert, Footnote feature to include the information at the bottom of the page.

Use the Insert, Page Break feature to go to page 2.

Use Block Indent to keep the text under Thesis left-aligned.

For the Outline, use one of the options on the Outline Numbered tab from the Bullets & Numbering selection of the Format menu.

If you make a mistake, use the Undo Typing command under the Edit menu.

If that doesn't work, close the file without saving and open the file again.

Allow yourself five minutes to submit both hard and soft copies.

NO LATE PASSES WILL BE GIVEN.
