Transportation

Transportation to NYC and back will be by Amtrak.

We will be leaving DC from Union Station on #84, the 8:35am train (Gate number to be announced). All students should meet at 7:30am in front of the Union Station Information Desk in the Main Concourse of the Station. This desk is directly in front of you as you enter the Station from the main entrance on Columbia Circle. We will procede to the Amtrak desk from there. Because we are a large group, we will be allowed to board the train before the rest of the passengers, but MUST DO SO BY 7:45 AM.

Do not be late!!

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE AN ID WITH YOU!

The #84 will put us into NYC's Penn Station at 11:50am. Since we will have our luggage, we will take cabs to the hotel from Penn Station.

The group will be leaving NYC on Sunday afternoon on the #163, the 5:05pm train from Penn Station. This should place us in DC's Union Station at 8:35pm. Parents can meet thier son or daughter at the Union Station Information Desk in the Main Concourse at this time.

All transportation while in NYC will be by subway or cabs. Our rule is: subway by day, cabs by night. Students will pay the subway as needed. Cab receipts will be collected and reinbursment made once we arrive at our destination. Whenever we get into cabs, we will ALWAYS keep to the same groupings. Those groups are as follows:
